Since his appointment in 2020, Rep. Prax has earned the trust of his colleagues and become one of the most senior members of the Alaska House — the 12th most senior of the 40. In a forty-member body, seniority is what decides who sits on the committees where budgets are actually written and where bills either move or die.
That standing is not transferable. A district that trades it away starts over at the back of the room.
